A night to remember! Hosted by emcee Sabel Scities, we celebrated with craft cocktails, heavy pūpū, lively entertainment, and the thrill of the bid. If you missed the event, enjoy this video for a glimpse into and incredible evening. Mahalo to our guests, our hosts (MyBar saves the day!), and each artist and volunteer that donated their artwork, time, and energy in support of the Mill. Mahalo to Kona Media Creative for this video that captures this night so beautifully! The Donkey Mill Art Center’s 16th annual art auction Splash! celebrates the impact of the arts beyond the Mill and the resounding influence of the arts to inspire and strengthen individual and collective well-being. The Mill has been making a “splash” for over twenty-five years, activating waves which continue to build and resonate into the community and world, far beyond the boundaries of the Mill’s campus. Mahalo nui loa to the artists and community members who donated their art to support outstanding arts and cultural programming at the Donkey Mill. Mahalo to our Auction Committee for their dedication and support to bring this event to life. Auction Host Committee Chair: John Roth and Auction Committee: Mina Elison, Matt Harper, Cris Lindborg, John Linder, Miho Morinoue, Sonia Nelson, Ashley Raymond, Aesha Shapiro, Krista Skehan, & Cynthia Smith. Splash! Annual Art Auction is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors: Stand For The Arts Award Presented by Ovation & Spectrum, Holualoa Inn, Kona Frame Shop, Kona Trans, Knutson & Associates, Spirited Cocktail Catering, HeartBeet Catering, Kona Wine Market, My Bar, BREW, Mauka to Makai General Contracting, Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts Biennium Grant, Cris & Eric Lindborg, Barbara Pfaffenberger, & John Holliday.
