Kayak Camping Round Valley Reservoir Day 1. This is Day 1 of our Kayak Camping Trip to Round Valley Reservoir September 24th, - 26th. Me and my brother Jim headed over early in the day, Adam came by in the evening. The paddle over was very pleasant with a slight wind at around 6mph, we got some fishing in but had no luck. At camp we quickly setup and processed some wood for the evening. After the camp chores we relaxed a bit, checked out the area and started a fire for dinner. Surf and Turf was on the menu, Salmon, Shrimp, Steak and Asparagus, however I under cooked the Salmon and the Steak but this was quickly remedied, except Adam lost the rest of his salmon to the fire. The evening was beautiful and we sat around the fire chatting before I called it a night and went to bed, Adam and Jim stayed up a bit longer.
