In this heartfelt video, Hanto + Clarke co-owners Michael and Stephen Clarke - alongside their wives, Chelsie and Ashley - share the emotional journeys that led their newborns to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Stephen and Ashley experienced their NICU journey at Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart, and while Michael and Chelsie’s experience took place at a different hospital, both families walked through the same challenges, emotional intensity, and overwhelming gratitude for the care their children received during their time in the NICU. They speak openly about the fear, uncertainty, and hope that define those first moments as NICU parents - and the extraordinary nurses and medical teams who cared for their children with skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication. You’ll also hear from Asia, a NICU nurse whose perspective highlights the deep commitment of the entire Sacred Heart NICU team and the life-changing impact their care has on families across our community. This video is part of the Cat Country 98.7 Cares for Kids Radiothon, an annual community effort raising critical funds for the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart. Thanks to Pensacola’s generosity, this year’s Radiothon raised $301,400 to bring LiT Therapy - advanced treatment for epilepsy and brain surgery recovery - to children in our region.
