This class explores poses and breath techniques that help manage and alleviate feelings of depression. This is a nice class to do if you don't have a lot of physical or mental energy, but want to encourage it to come back. Very slow movements, long holds, and returning to childs pose often. Have a blanket, bolster and 2 blocks or pillows handy for a couple of restorative poses at the end of class. Please note-this class features a weighted Savasana, where I ask you to place a pillow on your chest. This doesn't feel right/safe for everyone, so please honor any feelings of discomfort and sit up.
