While Mulholland Drive is commonly known for its stunning views and serpentine twists, just below the road lies a haunting automotive boneyard. Dubbed Dead Man's Curve, a hairpin turn near Laurel Canyon has claimed a number of casualties over the years, and the skeletons of cars dating as far back as the 1950s sit overturned and rusted through. Many have been there for decades. It's too expensive for the city to haul the cars up to the surface, so they remain.
