This level kicked my ass so much. Not that I didn't enjoy the challenge, mind you. Most of the enemies you fight are hitscanners, and they can be placed in some evil spots, like the chaingunners high up in cages right at the start of the level. Yeesh. The secrets were also pretty well hidden, but rewarding when I did find them. And the water base theme is always a cool one to me. The rising blood pool near the end was neat too, as was the square spiral staircase (always a welcome trope in my eyes). FYI, you can pick up the secret shotgun shells through the panel they are hiding behind by running into it. 10:32 MAP05: "Visiting Water Passage" by purple_ruberoid More water bases, hot dog! No pun intended, but this level flows really well. The layout always puts you right where you need to be. Some fun fights in this one too, including an ambush that, thanks to the abundance of rockets, I was able to topple in less than 20 seconds.
