#acrylicpouring #wanderingstraightpour #MinaVillegasArt #art #WaterHorse Hello Beautiful People! Welcome back! A while back I did a pour called Lapis Lazuli, and when watching the video the other day, I saw one corner that was so beautiful to me that I havent been able to get it out of my head. That corner was white with some amazing deep blue lacing and big boulder cells.. so tonight I am going to pour inspired by that corner haha.. this is Lapis Lazuli, if you want to go see the corner for yourself • Lapis Lazuli 💫 Fabulous 24x24 Blue & Bronz... Lets get started! I'm using a 24x30 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artist Loft. I am using a Smack Stick, courtesy of my dear friend Sarah Mack. • SUPER Wrecked Straight Pour With My NEW SM... I saw Fiona doing the very cool Skewer Swipe technique. • (960) Open Cup / Skewer Swipe / Scoop Dip ... Colors Golden Paynes Grey Pthalo Blue Amsterdam Permanent Blue Violet Titanium White DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics 24K Gold Pouring Medium: Golden Heavy Gel Gloss Floetrol There is NO Silicone in Any of My Paint. I layer two cups and pour them into the center of the canvas, and then tilt it out. Once the canvas is covered, then I focus on composition, and volume of paint on the canvas. I personally enjoy stretching out and opening up details in my paintings, even if that means I lose some interesting parts. Most of the time, I prefer a more relaxing composition with some 'wow' parts to something very busy and chaotic. Overall, I am very happy with this piece. I love the lines and colors and all the amazing cells.. My daughter sees a Horse in this painting, and I am getting a very 'under the sea' vibe from it. I do see the horse, as well as lots of fins.. so we have a water horse with a flowing mane and tail.. If you want to see more of my artwork, please check me out on Facebook and on Instagram! As always I appreciate all your help in sharing my videos! Its a great free way for you guys to help me grow my audience organically. I will be teaching classes at Pour Con in Las Vegas on August 6-9th this summer! You can find more information and tickets at https://www.pourcon.com/ Thanks for hanging out with me today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Music from Epidemic Sound
