Hi! I'm making a dutch baby pancake today. I love pancakes, but sometimes can't be bothered to fry them individually. This is a great recipe for one of those days - easy to make and so fun to watch how it puffs in the oven! Although, I find that it puffs a bit less compared to a classic recipe that doesn't call for ricotta in the batter. Nonetheless, it's still puffy and yummy. I topped it with a whipped cream and ricotta mixture, more berries and lots of syrup and it was out of this world good. This recipe makes one 8 inch (20 cm) pancake, which is enough to serve as a standalone breakfast for two people. Or it could be a breakfast and an afternoon snack :) Hope you enjoy the video and I'll see you next week! 👋🏻 ▶ Ingredients for one 8 inch (20 cm) dutch baby pancake [Pancake] ▪︎ 2 large eggs ▪︎ 80 ml (~1/3 cup) whole milk ▪︎ 30g (2 tbsp) ricotta cheese ▪︎ half of vanilla pod/ 1 tbsp vanilla extract / 1/2 tbsp vanilla paste ▪︎ a pinch of salt ▪︎ 60g (1/2 cup) all-purpose flour [Cream] ▪︎ 60 ml (4 tbsp) heavy cream ▪︎ 60 g (4 tbsp) ricotta cheese ▪︎ 1 tbsp powdered sugar Preheat the oven to 230 C (450 F) with the skillet.
