In the spring of 2018, a farmer friend of mine gave me a few ears of Oaxacan Green Corn he had grown in his garden. I grew it out that year, and the following spring I had a fair amount of corn to make into flour. Here, I show how I process the corn, from removing the kernels, to grinding, to preparing the cornbread. ~ ~ I don't know the first thing about video editing, but I tried. I filmed this video back in 2019, but haven't put it all together until now. I realize there are a few steps missing from this video. I also didn't get a real good picture of the finished product. I hope you believe me that it was absolutely delicious, with a beautiful green tint. ~ ~ Hopefully I get better at this, and I continue to upload more glimpses of the gardening, horseback riding, and farming which fill my life in the small mountain town where I live.
