Welcome back to the best half marathon training program! (not biased at all). I warned you that we're upping the intensity this week A LOT, so get ready for a crazy week of working out. I hope you get inspired to try out some of these workouts , because I must say they're some of my favorites so far for this program! (Especially Fridays run). ADJUSTMENTS FOR BEGINNERS: Easy run - bring this down to 4 miles, and really pace yourself, going as slow as you need to. I would definitely recommend trying to hold the run instead of run/walk intervals, but I think you got this! Intervals - Honestly, keep this run the same. It's super fun, but if you need to rest for 90 seconds instead of 60 definitely do that. Long run - Try doing 5.5 miles if possible! I know it's a scary distance but you can always slow down if you need to and stop for some water. I believe in you!
