I am completely at a loss on how I missed this distro for so long now. Alpine Linux. I have thoroughly enjoyed this journey. Figuring what I need and what I didn't. The latter list is the smallest. Made me remember why I like Arch Linux so much. The documentation so far has been complete and easy to find. Always a plus. This is only a very basic install in Gnome-Boxes with only the very basic system. Take note, in the Boxes install how little is there, no audio (alsa is installed which gives you a head start), no network manager applet, no wallpapers and no sudo/doas. Much needed to keep you busy making Alpine Linux your distro of choice. This system is one of, if not, the fastest I have ever seen. From boot to DE in a flash.
