BARONY CASTLE (with largest land map of Scotland & popular wedding venue)

A visit to Barony Castle in the Scottish Borders which is around 35 minutes from Edinburgh. Here you can see the beautiful grounds of the castle which includes the LARGEST land map of Scotland and indeed ANY country IN THE WORLD. There has always been a special relationship between Scotland and Poland but not more so than during the WW2. Barony Castle was the base camp for Polish soldiers where they lived and trained in preparation to shore up the East of Scotland defences. A Polish war veteran Jans Tomasik felts such admiration for the area and castle and in the 1970's was the architect of this land map of Scotland.
