The next snowy weather systems will impact parts of the nation as we work through the week. Cold air and low temperatures will continue to plague the east and south for the next couple of weeks while the west remains warmer than normal. Eventually a few systems will begin to work into the west, and we'll see moisture return to some areas that have been dry. In the meantime, a couple of disturbances in the subtropical jet will bring ice and snow threats to parts of the Tennessee Valley, Mid-Atlantic and northeast.
