Today’s recipe is a healthy, quick, instant, and no grind Ragi Rava idli recipe. Ragi Rava Idli Recipe, that is made really simple & easy with ragi flour and rava and spiced with basic spices and green chillies and then steamed. It makes a great high protein breakfast and a great indian diabetic breakfast or dinner. The Ragi Rava Idli Recipe is a healthy preparation of the traditional Rava Idli that is made from Ragi Flour and Sooji. In this Ragi Rava Idli recipe, ragi flour, also known as the finger millet flour, is combined along with semolina (rava) and spiced it up with green chillies, ginger, mustard, and curry leaves. Ragi rava idli is an ideal morning breakfast recipe and can be prepared without the hassle of grinding, soaking, and fermenting the batter. It is made with spices and is savory and hence can be eaten as it is, but tastes great with a dip of chutney or sambar.This no long soak, no grind and no fermentation instant idli recipe needs a raising ingredient otherwise you cant expect such output in your idli. We start with ragi flour and mix it with semolina to mellow down the flavours of ragi while still getting full benefits of the grain. Further, the tempering and vegetables help get other flavours and nutrition into to idli. All together, this idli is a perfect package of nutrition, taste, and flavours. And yet, we do not give up on the benefits that ragi has to offer.This grain has been in the food scene for a long time, but it has been shining in the last couple of years. Earthy, delicious, and full of nutrition, ragi is definitely a great addition to any meal.
