This one turned out pretty long because I went in-depth on a lot of these plant based staples explaining why they’re nutritionally wise choices to eat regularly, plus I explain some examples of various ways I eat them. This was in response to a comment I received a few times recently on my channel asking for a video about what I eat (and don’t eat) and why. I thought the request was interesting. I have very specific reasons for choosing the foods I eat and I love talking about them. It’s incredible how important our choices around food can be. In the long term, it can literally mean life or death. You might wonder if my diet is pretty bland because I eat these 5 plant based diet staples nearly every day, but trust me, they’re all versatile enough that I can keep my diet interesting while still enjoying them all the time. For example, with bananas I might blend them into a smoothie today but eat them frozen as ice cream for dessert tomorrow. And with oats, they might be my morning cereal tomorrow, but today they’re going to be in the chocolate peanut butter oat balls for dessert. So much variety! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the video.
