There is a super important set of muscles called your Transverse Abdominis (TA’s) that wrap around your lower back and your lower stomach like a corset. Often this set of muscles will be largely inactive after having a baby as they have been stretched around your baby and have often had trauma during birth. If they are not working as they should be during your exercise and day to day life they will be weak and unsupportive for your lower stomach and back. Then once we know how to turn them on we can then make them work in our exercise and day to day life. Using them will strengthen them which will mean more support for your lower stomach and back.
