Preparation • ​Remove the front right wheel and the inner plastic wheel arch liner. • ​Remove the engine cover and air filter housing. • ​Support the engine: Use a jack with a wooden block under the oil pan. • ​Remove the engine mount bracket on the timing belt side to gain full access. ​2. Setting TDC (Top Dead Center) • ​Rotate the crankshaft (clockwise only) using the center bolt until the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley aligns with the mark on the engine block. • ​Check Camshafts: The two camshaft sprockets have small holes. These holes must face each other. • ​Locking: Insert the specialized locking pins (T10016) into the holes. If the holes are on the opposite sides, rotate the crankshaft one more full turn. ​3.
