How anxiety fatigue and depression tiredness keep us from true healing: One of the biggest culprits is fighting (no energy left to strengthen our new beliefs). We fight our anxiety fatigue and we look to improve it at every turn. This only adds to the fatigue from anxiety and keeps our fight or flight system highly activated. The understanding around how anxiety fatigue affects us mentally and physiologically, we are using the acronym MURKY, or the MURKY Effect.: M - Magnification: Senses are magnified and response are exaggerated. A car backfires and we believe it's a shotgun for example, as our fatigue from anxiety and depression tiredness sensitizes us into believing things our much worse than what they really are. U - We Undervalue our progress: We feel our progress over anxiety fatigue will be short lived so we revery back to a familiar state of victimhood. R - Reversal: NAT’s (negative automatic thinking) take priority over creative thinking because we feel it will be too much work to create new perspectives. This is another trick played by the anxiety fatigue we feel. K - We become Kirfuffled: Confusion strikes and we begin to self criticize ourselves. We run into different kinds of neurological difficulties and fatigue from anxiety pulls us into self criticism. Y - Yearning: We yearn for the past which leads us back to victimhood. These are days we didn't suffer the exhaustion that fatigue from anxiety has placed upon us, which may lead us deeper into depression tiredness. What do we do about it? Do: 1) Get adequate rest 2) Regular mini vacations throughout the day 3) Add 100 to 500 mg of magnesium to your diet (can help to reduce fatigue and exhaustion) 4) Stop fighting your anxiety fatigue 5) pick up on the patterns that lead you towards exhaustion 6) Laugh at yourself more 7) Stop doom scrolling on social media 8) Be easy on yourself 9) Never give up on the real you 10) See the fatigue from anxiety as a chapter, not a life Important Anxiety Guy Links: A health anxiety solution: https://theanxietyguy.com/health-anxi...
