Semolina Sweet | Suji ka Halwa | Sooji Halwa | Pakistani Breakfast Halwa Puri recipe INGREDIENTS: 1.25 cup sugar 1/2 cup semolina 2.5 tbsp. clarified butter 2 cardamom 2 cloves 2 cups water 1/2 tsp. saffron color 1 tsp. kewra water RECIPE: 1st we will prepare the sugar syrup In a pot add water, sugar and mix well Now add kewra water and saffron color and cook till water boils and sugar is completely dissolved. While our sugar syrup is getting ready, in a separate pan add clarified butter, cardamom and cloves and fry for 2 mins. Now add Semolina and fry for 4 to 5 mins till it becomes aromatic but make sure to not to change its color…. keep stirring for even cooking Once Semolina is done turn the burner to its minimum and very slowly pour in the sugar syrup. Keep siting for 3 to 4 mins so that syrup and Semolina are well combined and no lumps are formed.
