The reality of surviving cancer can make celebrating survival a challenge. It can also be a tremendous opportunity to grow in confidence, resilience, and empathy. Through a series of handwritten notecards and journal entries, Nick discusses the valuable lessons he learned as a two-time cancer survivor and the importance of considering the relationship between mental and physical health. Nick is a dad, a college administrator, and a city councilor living in Brookings, South Dakota. He’s also a two-time cancer survivor.
