In today's video I travelled to Copenhagen to meet my new coach Victor Smangs to get my full current physiology tested including Vo2 max, calculation of my lactate threshold (LT1+LT2) and oxygen consumption in the working muscles which made for some interesting findings. The results from this testing will be used by my coach moving forward to tailor a individualised training plan for my marathon goals towards the end of the year. I decided not to crop this video down into the usual 10-15 minute piece because I personally learnt lots from this discussion with sports scientist, Mads Taersboel, who undertook this test and clearly has years of expertese in this field- that I'm sure you may find of value too.
