In Anderson County, Texas, preserving history begins with leadership. Under the direction of Teresia Coker, District Clerk for Anderson County, important steps were taken to protect some of the county’s oldest and most historically significant court records, including a District Court Minute Book dating to 1863, created during the Civil War era. This preservation project highlights the importance of safeguarding historic court records, minute books, and legal documents held by county and district clerks across Texas. Revolution Data Systems specializes in archival preservation, digitization, and custom binding solutions designed to protect irreplaceable government records while maintaining public access. Revolution Data Systems was honored to support this effort by preserving and digitizing each historical page. Every page was carefully preserved and placed individually into archival Mylar sleeves, then housed in custom archival binders. This page-by-page preservation approach allows the records to be safely viewed while protecting fragile originals from handling, wear, and environmental damage. This project reflects the leadership of Teresia Coker and her commitment to protecting Anderson County’s history for generations to come. Revolution Data Systems partners with county and district clerks across Texas and the United States to preserve, digitize, and protect historic government records for the future. #TexasHistory #RecordPreservation #DistrictClerk #HistoricRecords #RevolutionDataSystems
