Niagara Falls is the largest waterfall by volume in North America, and certainly the most well-known of our chutes thanks to its history (America’s oldest state park!), its role in Hollywood and its easy access. Some are surprised to learn, however, that there are actually three waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Fall. Many people believe Niagara Falls is just one separate fall however it consists of three magnificent falls: the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls is the largest of the trio. Due to its Curved appearance the majority of the water falls over it. The American Falls which is located in the United States has a very dramatic appearance due to the large stone blocks at its base. The Bridal Veil Falls is the smallest among all three of them.
