It's French homemade cuisine, Coq Au Bin. You have to braise the chicken in wine for a long time, and I was pretty surprised that the recipe is very similar to Korean cuisine, too. The recipe is just the same as cooking Boeuf Bourguignon. And I personally prefer Coq Au Vin's taste. The chicken goes well with wine. Ingredients Coq Au Vin Chicken 1, Wine 1/2 bottle, Bacon 3, Carrot 1/3, Button mushroom 5, Onion 1/2, Tomato paste 2 tbsp, Chicken stock 1, Bay leaf 3, Dried thyme little, Butter 3 slices, Olive oil, Garlic 8, Celery 1, Flour 1 tbsp, Parsley little, Salt/pepper little Recipe 1. Preparing chicken Rinse the prepared chicken with water Put it in milk for 30 mins, then its strong smell will be gone. But if you don't have time, you don't have to! Remove water and season it with salt and pepper 2. Searing Grill the seasoned chicken over high heat Grill it over high heat till its surface turns golden brown 3. Stir-frying veggies Add olive oil in the pan and stir-fry bacon When there's enough oil, move the bacon into another plate Add veggies (carrot/onion/garlic/celery) and stir-fry with the bacon oil Add a spoonful of flour, and 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and stir-fry all till it becomes mushy Add butter on another pan and stir-fry button mushroom till golden brown 4.
