Ultimate Frisbee is a non-competitive, non-contact, and self-refereed sport where every game concludes with a spirit circle where players connect and engage in positive conflict resolution. Benoy runs a non-profit that uses the sport of ultimate frisbee to build life skills in young people from marginalized socioeconomic backgrounds. He shares the rules of the sport and the journey of one of the youth players at his organization, with a heartwarming surprise at the end! Benoy Stephen is the co-founder and director at Y-Ultimate, a non-profit that uses the sport of ultimate frisbee to build life skills in young people from marginalised socioeconomic backgrounds. He holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. He started his stint in the development sector through the Teach for India Fellowship from 2016. He has worked as a grassroot sports development consultant for USHA International from 2019-21. He is passionate about bridging gender gaps through sports and has worked with Transformational Sports as a facilitator and program manager for various projects.
