Nipun Malhotra, the CEO of the Nipman Foundation talks about the 3 A's of Disability - Attitudes, Accessibility and Affordability. Nipun Malhotra is the CEO and co-founder of the Nipman Foundation that works towards the health and advocacy of people with disabilities. Having born with a rare congenital disorder- arthrogryposis, he understands the problems faced by the disabled and actively focuses his efforts towards empowering them. His efforts have enabled wheelchair-access in various festivals, events and other distinct areas in the country. Nipun Malhotra, an alumnus of St. Stephen’s , DSE and the ISB, was born with Arthrogryposis, a rare congenital disorder. He is the co-founder and CEO of the Nipman Foundation that helps Persons with Disabilities and believes in equal opportunities to all. Mr. Malhotra is the brand ambassador of Umoja Travels and also on the board of Directors at Vishwas, an NGO working on disability and development. Since August 2016, he is a part of NITI Aayog's experts panel. He is also the ED of Nipman Fastener Industries. He is the reason behind - wheelchair access filters in restaurant listings on Zomato and the wheelchair availability at the recent NH7 and the Jaipur Lit Fest. He also lobbied with the Delhi Government to get the Disabled exempted from the Odd-Even car rule. He is the founder of ‘Wheels for Life’ - a crowdsourcing platform, connecting those who need wheelchairs to donors, who can financially contribute for them.
