3rd April 2024, 11:55 Having done the Red 15 previously but without much visibility (   • Mayrhofen 2024 - Red 15, poor visibility.  ) we took the option here in a bit better weather. From top of Gerent chair head to the right, piste starts with quite a steep section but is generally a nice, wide run. Reaching the bottom of the first steep section (00:40) you can see the start of the first of 2 slalom runs alongside the main slope. This has a timing gate on it and a clock displaying your time at the end. Wasn't sure if you needed to scan your lift pass to record the time, however nothing seemed to happen so just a case of waiting for the green light and pushing through the start switch. 30.65s isn't particularly fast but it's a bit of fun. Following member of the group either didn't wait for green light or didn't properly push the start switch. Slightly further down at 2:25 is the 2nd of the two slalom runs. This one is about twice as long and is a bit steeper too. 1:01 for that one by the sound of things. This finished just before the bottom station of the Unterbergalm chair. Well worth doing these for a bit of fun.
