3rd April 2024, 12:05 From top of Unterbergalm chair we head to the left and pick up Red 10, heading down towards the Schneekarhutte restaurant/hotel. We pass by this and go left, passing under the Schneekar chair. Any of the routes from the top can bring you out here. The Blue 11 heads off to the right from here but we follow the Red down, keeping to the right hand side of the slope. As you reach the reservoir at 1:50 go to the right of this which will bring you back onto the Blue 11 and then to the fun slope at 2:30. This is another interesting and fun slope to do consisting of banked turns and camel bumps, as well as a 360 degree loop with a tunnel (4:20). You can pick up quite a lot of speed at the start so take care! Coming out of this we continue on Red 10, passing the top station of the Moslbahn at 5;05, which is where the Black 16 starts from, however we keep to the right as we go down. At 5:55 we pass under the Gerent chair and continue on the route which will take us all the way down to the Horberg valley area. At this point the run is both Blue 11 and Red 10. It's fairly flat but fast and decently wide rather than a narrow track. At 7:00 the runs diverge, with the Red heading down to the left, but the blue effectively goes straight on, although not immediately obvious. Nice and wide and reasonably steep for a while, however from 7:50 the snow becomes a bit stickier due to previous rain and it becomes quite slow for the remainder of the track. Eventually we come out into the main area, passing under the Schneekar chair at 9:20 and we head for the Larchwald chair to take us back up to the Penken area.
