In a pressure cooker add the soaked dal along with 3 glasses of water , half tsp haldi , some chopped coriander , half tsp zeera , 1 chopped tomato , 2 tbsp chopped onion . Pressure cook on high heat till first whistle and low heat for 7-8 mins. Mash the dal lightly and keep aside Take a big vessel or kadhai , add some oil , fry 1 big sliced onion till golden and remove. In the same oil add 1 tbsp ghee ,1 tej patta, few curry leaves , 3 tbsp chopped garlic 2-3 chopped green chillies and saute well , add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and salt , cook till soft , add 1 tsp red chilli powder , 1 tsp dhanya powder , half tsp zeera powder , half tsp garam masala powder , 1 tbsp kasoori methi and saute well . Add the cooked dal and rice, little chopped coriander , add little water if needed and cook for 5-7 mins , lastly mix juice of half lime and the fried onion and switch off heat. Sprinkle lots of chopped coriander on the khichdi. ( dont mix) Now in a small vessel heat lots of ghee ( you can also take oil and 1 tbsp ghee) add half tsp hing , 2 whole red chillis broken , 2 green chillies slit , 4-5 cloves of garlic sliced , half tsp zeera and fry till golden and switch off heat. Stir 1 tsp red chilli powder in it and pour on the kothmir we had spread on the khichdi , and serve hotttt Qeema Masoor : Ingredients to marinate Beef mince 250gm Split red lentil Whole masoor 1cup Garlic paste 2 tbsp Ginger paste 1/5 tbsp Green chili paste 1 tsp Red chilli powder 2 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Coriander powder 2 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp all spice 1 tsp Salt as required Lemon juke 2tbsp Chopped coriander as required Mint as required Yogurt 250 gm sindhi biryani masala, 2 tbsp tomatoes finely chopped , 3 Fried onions as required Other ingredients Boil rice as required oil as required Whole garam masala Fried potato as required clarified butter as required Yellow color garam masala In a bowl mix together 250 gms washed kheema with a cup of washed whole masoor , marinate with 2 tbsp garlic paste , 1.5 tbsp ginger paste , 1 tsp green chilli paste , 2 tsp red chilli powder , 1 tsp haldi powder , 2 tsp dhanya powder , 1 tsp zeera powder ,1 tsp garam masala powder,salt , juice of 1 lime , a fist of chopped coriander and mint, 250 gms yogurt ,2 tbsp shaan sindhi biryani masala, 3 tomatoes finely chopped , and barista of 3 onions. Let this marinate for at least half hour. Now in a pressure cooker put oil and whole garam masala , let it crackle and add the entire keema mix , saute for 5 min and add Little water and pressure cook on high heat till first whistle then on low heat for 10 mins. Add fried potato pcs and some more coriander Nd mint cook till almost dry . Serve hot. For the rice i simply boil basmati rice with whole garam masala , and keep on dum with some ghee and yellow colour
