Hey what's going on my fellow Idiots! After a bit of delay, we've got a new episode of Idiot Proof Cooking, and a tasty one at that. Today I'm making some soft pretzels with the help of Rose and JP. They're both big fans of pretzels, whenever we go out to a mall, Megan and I usually buy them a huge soft pretzel to share. So I figured I'd make some for the channel and for the kids to enjoy. They're super easy to make and come together pretty quickly. Now traditionally you would dip the pretzels in water and lye to give them a deep brown colour when you bake them, however I didn't have any lye and didn't want to use it anyways around the kids, so used baking soda instead.
