Sunny Adeniyi Ministries Presents Power To Triumph - Streamed Live on February 19, 2026 To support our ministry, donate online at www.sunnyadeniyi.org OR send e-mail transfer to sunnyadeniyi@gmail.com SCRIPTURE READING FOR Today Zech 4:6 AMP 6 Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts. The Word of God To Meditate On Today Reading Zech 4:6 AMP. “When Strength Fails, the Spirit Prevails” Insights: 1) God is not anti-strength, He is anti-self-sufficiency - This scripture is not saying human effort is useless. It is saying human effort becomes dangerous when it becomes your source. God will allow you to come to the end of “might” and “power” so you can discover a higher realm: Spirit-dependence.“Might” and “power” represent what is natural—education, money, networks, talent, energy, strategy. But God is saying: none of these can birth what is spiritual.Zerubbabel was rebuilding the temple—God’s project. Yet God refused to let it be completed by human strength alone, because then the glory would shift from God to man.Deep truth:Sometimes God delays the work until your confidence transfers from your ability to His Spirit.-- 2) The Spirit is the oil that keeps the lamp of destiny burning - In Zechariah 4, the lampstand is not just decoration. It is a picture of God’s purpose. And the oil is not a bonus. It is the fuel. This means destiny does not fail mainly because of lack of intelligence, money, or opportunity. Destiny fails because of lack of oil—spiritual supply. Many believers burn out because they try to power a spiritual assignment with emotional energy, motivation, or human discipline.Deep truth:The Holy Spirit is not just a comforter. He is the sustainer of your calling.-- 3) The Holy Spirit is the Builder of God’s house, not just the Helper - Most believers see the Holy Spirit as “assistance.” But Zech 4:6 reveals something deeper: He is the Executor of divine projects. This is why the verse says, “This is the word of the Lord…”Meaning: the Spirit is not a suggestion. He is God’s method.God doesn’t just give instructions—He gives empowerment. The Spirit is the power behind the Word.Deep truth:The Holy Spirit does not only help you do God’s will—He makes God’s will possible.-- 4) When your strength runs out, you are not failing—you are being positioned. God’s work is not powered by muscle, charisma, or connections. It is powered by the Spirit. And when the Spirit becomes your source, what looked impossible becomes inevitable.
