Beadnell Bay Caravan & Motorhome Club Site visiting Seahouses, the Farne Islands and Bamburgh

We stayed at the popular Camping and Caravanning Club Site at Beadnell Bay to explore the lovely Northumberland coast. In this video we explore Beadnell village, harbour and bay, Seahouses, the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Village and Castle. There is a beach just across the road from the campsite. Both Beadnell Bay and Bamburgh car parks allow motorhomes to stay overnight for a fee, just scan the QR code in the video which will take you straight to the 'Northumberland County Council Motorhome Bookings' (2025). If you want to go to the Farne Islands, boats leave from Seahouses and visit the main islands. Although we didn't go this time, we have visited these islands in the past, and the three things you will remember about the islands is: 1. The incredible number of sea birds 2. The noise 3. The smell! If you like castles then a trip to see the impressive Bamburgh Castle is a must. Perched high up on a volcanic dolerite, over looking the beautiful sandy Bamburgh beach and sand dunes. In the distance you can see the Farne Islands. Parts of the present castle date back to the first century and has seen many battles including the War of the Roses and the British Civil War.
