I do want to state here as I didn’t make it clear in the video that being aware isn’t enough for someone to change/ break their habits , as habits are automatic they will inherently always be in you. But, you can minimise it and make it easier for yourself by A) proving to yourself that you can say no , for me that was fasting B) changing your environment, however this assumes that you are going to be in the “perfect” conditions your whole life , which you aren’t and being fluid in behaviours is a really important trait that i’m currently working on. Now, on a GENERAL scale because I can’t do an individual approach to everyone here delaying the sudden feeling/ urge for something you know is going to pay off is a skill that you can get better at , just accept that there will be failures. Now it springs the topic of free will and to what extent we have this, as a lot of our behaviours are automatic (habits), built from our parents, we could be in denial and blind about ourselves , or just unaware , the list goes on. BUT if you clicked on this or is still reading you know you want to change , and that’s enough now it’s about asking the questions of what you want to change. I’m looking at creating a self growth community where we discuss problems and topics on an individual level with people so tell me if your interested 🧏♀️🦾
