Waste not, want not! That was something I heard a lot of while growing up on a little farm here in Northern Maine. As the second child of 6 children, I learned a lot from my mother about how to make a meal stretch. In todays video, I'm making a pot pie from what started out as a beef roast with root vegetables, then to a beef stew, and finally 2 small beef pot pies. The little bit of pie crust that was left over was turned into a quick and easy dessert. As a delicious side, we baked some fresh beets from our garden. I love being creative like this with what we cook or bake throughout the week. It makes meal planning a lot more fun! Thank you for supporting my channel!
