This 30-minute therapeutic yoga practice focuses on gently mobilising and strengthening the neck and shoulders. Neck and shoulder tension can build after illness, surgery, cancer treatment, migraines, menopause, long periods of stress, or time spent at a desk. This class is designed to help you reconnect with these areas in a safe, respectful way — without forcing, pushing, or overstretching. We’ll move slowly, using simple, accessible movements to: Reduce stiffness and holding in the neck and shoulders Support mobility after periods of pain, protection, or fatigue Gently rebuild strength and confidence in movement Encourage ease and awareness rather than performance This practice may be supportive if you are living with or recovering from: Cancer treatment or surgery (including mastectomy) Menopause-related joint stiffness or discomfort Migraines or tension headaches Chronic tension in the upper body You are encouraged to move at your own pace, rest whenever needed, and adapt the practice so it meets you exactly where you are today.
