For parts go to www.Importapart.com or email us at [email protected] I've been tearing down engines for a long time and sometimes even I am amazed at the damage they have inside. Enter this engine. This is the 2.0L Skyactiv engine from a 2017 Mazda Cx3. These engines are normally very reliable. It's clear that this one was worked on by people who didn't take pride in what they were doing, but was that the demise of this engine? Clearly whatever happened to this engine, it ran to the very end. The level of damage found inside is probably the worst we've seen in MONTHS and likely makes the top 5 list overall! The 2.0L Skyactiv engine can be found in the Mazda 3, Mazda cx3 and Mazda cx5. I've personally seen these engines with over 250k miles with very minimal repairs. The 2.0L especially is quite reliable and I would always recommend a car with one of these engines. I would just make sure not to buy one that has been worked on by someone like the person who worked on this one. My name is Eric and I own and run a full service auto salvage business called Importapart. A part of our model includes buying and dismantling core and blown up engines. We save all valuable parts and recycle the rest. We do not rebuild engines, merely supply parts to those who do. 00:00 Intro 03:58 Removing and inspecting the spark plugs 04:53 Inspecting the intake ports and intake valves.
