This week, we put the final layer of compost on the kitchen garden—just in time for spring to really begin. We also made good progress on the workbench build, added a few more stones to the dry-stone wall, gave the hole in the wall where the fireplace used to be its first coat of plaster, and mom made stinging nettle soup from the garden. At the end of the week, we took a walk to enjoy the wild cherry blossoms at their peak.
