This video captures the entire journey from the front window, thanks to the SkyTrain’s fully automated, driverless design that lets passengers sit right up front for the best views! Unfortunately, we had a few very minor technical issues with the camera mount, which resulted in a few brief instances where the view had to be cropped. We hope you guys don't mind! With the heavy intensive editing that we did, it's barely noticeable :) 🔹 About the SkyTrain System The Vancouver SkyTrain opened in 1985 as one of the world’s first automated rapid transit systems, debuting in time for Expo 86. The Canada Line opened in 2009, and is unique in being the only line on the SkyTrain network that utilizes traditional traction motors for propulsion, rather than linear induction motors.
