There is still no confirmed sightings of F23 through Monday March 2nd. F23 was last seen at 08:12AM on 2/27/26 flying off with M15 to the east. M15 continues to take care of E26 and brings in a partial fish for supper. M15 will perch on the U branch all afternoon waiting for F23 to return to the nest tree. E26 is busy flapping and going up and down the veranda branch and also perching in a heraldic pose. M15 will fly to the pond to get sips and he just is so quiet as he looks to the right and left hoping with his entire heart that F23 will fly in and join him once again and let him know she is okay. M15 continues to wait - then he flies to the outer branch until dusk. M15 will fly to the middle upper branch of the nest tree - then fly off and perch in the front pine for the remainder of the night. E26 sleeps soundly on the nest. The official statement remains unchanged from SWFEC: " F23 has not been in camera view since 8:12AM, on Friday, 2/27/2026. She and M15 were flying East. We know many of you are watching closely and care deeply about her. At this time, there is no confirmed sighting of F23 in the area. We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates if and when we have verified information. We have alerted FWC and CROW, our local wildlife Rehabilitation Center. If you see an injured or dead bald eagle in your area, please contact one of these services for immediate assistance. In the meantime M15 is taking great care of their offspring E26. He is providing food and protection. Please give M15 space to deal with what he needs to do at this time." Thank you for watching! Elfruler does a section on " EAGLET DAILY PHOTOS AND MILESTONES" for each week of development.
