[Music] Here's another video with Dr Anita Dr Kat and we're two of the chiropractors here at the clinic today we're going to be dealing with hip flexor stretches which are also called iliosoes which are also called psoas it's spelled funny which is even awesome but it's basically the same thing so we're going to give you two versions one might be easier for you so you can try them both and see what you like so the first one we're going to have kneeling down on the floor the most important thing here is that the front knee remains at 90 degrees so we don't want to have it squished like this because that can have trouble so we want to have it forward and the back leg back you can go back forward a bit more there we go perfect so this gives a stretch to this hip flexor now if you can put a pillow underneath the knee but if that's Troublesome we'll show you the opposite one standing up so it's very similar outside leg goes back into a lunge again being really careful with the front knee and you can then bring the arm up and over that's awesome so with stretches once again ideally you hold them 30 seconds to get the most Effectiveness out of your stretch if you do it less time then that's still okay and this one is really important for everybody who sits which is a lot of us so put it into your repertoire and do it often all right we hope that was useful thanks for watching another danforthy's Wellness video about the Elio psoas soaz hip flexor all the same thing comment below if you'd like us to review something else or put on another video we'll try and get to it as soon as we can and share with your friends like And subscribe and you won't miss any of the ones that we're putting out we hope you had a great time we did we'll see you next time thank you
