Sorry about the microphone! It didn’t sound that bad when I was editing it. I bought a new, high quality microphone so hopefully on the next one it will be a lot better. Let’s hope third times the charm! If you turn it down it doesn’t seem to be as bad. If you don’t want to watch because of the sound, the recipe is below. Another cooking show! Protein waffles. These have been one of my staples and favorites for years. Let me know if you try them! PROTEIN WAFFLES Ingredients: 2 cups oat flour (grind raw oats in food processor or blender into flour) 2 tbsp ground flax 3 x 30 grams scoops or ¾ cup) whey protein (I use a Plant Based Vanilla Powder) 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice) 4 eggs whites Instructions: 1. Preheat waffle iron 2. In 1 bowl mix together oat flour, whey protein, flax, baking powder and cinnamon. Mix until blended. All in wet ingredients (milk, vanilla, egg white) and mix until blended. 3. Allow batter to sit for 5 minutes allowing it to thicken a bit. 4. Cook on waffle maker until golden brown (about 5 minutes). 5. Serve topped with berries, low sugar syrup, or whatever you like. 6. Store leftovers in freezer bags and keep in the freezer. When you want to re-heat them, just toss it in the toaster or in the microwave (I microwave about 90 seconds on one side and about 40 seconds on the other side).
