Lol Creme and Kevin Godley - 'Gismo sales talk demonstation disc' (exactly as written on the tape box) - unreleased demonstration tape for the Gizmotron, intended for the retail market. Probably engineered and mixed by Eric Stewart Strawberry Studios, Stockport, possibly 1976 This is a wonderful tape, that's never been heard before. It showcases many of the extraordinary sounds this musical invention was capable of. Importantly, it shows Lol Creme as a master of the instrument. He really could make it sing! If nothing else, this is like Consequences in miniature, innovative and beautiful, with excerpts from an early mix of Justin Hayward's 'Blue Guitar'. Kevin Godley is on the fence about the trans-Atlantic voice-over, stating that it sounds like a weird hybrid of his and Lol's voices! It was digitised on 21st July 2021 at 24-bit, 48k. The Scotch tape was played on a Revox PR99 and digitised on an Apple Mac running Logic Pro X.
