This video is the second part in a three-part series on building out a redemption analysis process in Alteryx. These videos will show you every step, formula and any and all involved code that you will need so that you will be able to create and replicate these exact same processes. One thing I love about Alteryx is its usability and reusability. I can quickly make a process that can use all sorts of data from different sources and spit out the results that I need for an analysis or report. One process that I use a lot is getting redemption data and redemption percentage for customers. In this video I go over the second part where we will build all the redwmption pieces that we will use for reporting from which customers redeemed and which did not to how they redeemed, segmentations by spend levels and much more. We make this so that you just have to enter the data and select run - what could be easier than that? There are a few small formulas here and some filters, but for most of this part we will use summarize. We will break out the redeemers sales information by date (month and week number), to segmentation based upon spend levels (4 groupings broken up into quarters, and more. We will also create customer lists so our users can easily use this info to better target these customers in the future. Like the data in most of my other videos this is data from an actual project or task that is commonly faced in data analysis and advanced analytics. Be sure and watch part one is you haven't already and then part 3 so that you will then be able to do this entire analysis and replicate it yourself. What's nice about this the and is that you'll be able to quickly take most any campaign data and get the redemption percentage and redemption information in literally seconds.
