Hi, it's Dr. Micahel Winters and I want to talk with you today about fixing the lower back. Imagine if everything you do, on one side of your spine the muscles on your spine are working strongly and on the other side of the spine they are not firing like they should. That's going to create some chronic problems. That's what we are seeing with a lot of people. I want to introduce you today to a great new technique we have called Cranial Low Force Technique. In 32 year of practice, this is a total game changer. We have had some amazing results with it already. Yesterday, I adjusted a lady who could barely open her jaw and I adjusted her with this low force technique and her jaw opened smoothly. We have some great responses on other muscles, hip muscles and knee muscles and people walking out of the office with virtually no pain when they came in with a lot of pain. I'm going to show you today about how we fix the lower back. I'm going to demonstrate a couple muscles here and show you the difference and then I'll show you the correction. Then I'll show you what it is afterward. Karen cross your arms over and then to the side. I'm going to try to push her back up and she's strong. Now bend to this side , I'm going to try to push her back up and she's obviously very weak. Karen, go ahead and lay on your back for me. Now we are testing the small muscles along your back. We are going to turn on the muscles that are weak and help them work correctly so that while she is doing her every day activities she will be strong. I'm going to come in on her cranial area on the back of the back of the skull where some of those muscles are attached to the dura which is the covering that continuous around the brain and continuous around the spinal cord. It's a very gentle correction. You barely even feel it being done. It's amazing. Once I know which direction I need to go I come in very gently to the dura and feel it release up and down. Then we go in a rotational direction. Once we have made the correction we are going to check her. She is as solid as she can be after the correction. Once the brain recognizes the muscle weakness and make a connection the muscle can stay strong. When we correct your leg, back, lower back muscles it's a big game changer on how well your spine holds its adjustments and how well you recover.
