Welcome to my channel. In today’s video Whitby Fine Art Photography I spend a couple of hours around Whitby Harbour photographing the Lighthouses. The video shows my work flow process over 3 different locations from different locations around the Harbour. The first composition was taken in St Mary’s Church yard overlooking the Harbour Lighthouses finishing on the East Pier at last light before wrapping it up for the video. Conditions were not great as a sea mist had come inland making it tricky to photograph. However it still look great for some classic fine art photography of the lighthouses. On route to Whitby we stopped at Saltwick Bay to do a recce on the Admiral von Tromp, a shipwreck from 1976. For a possible future Vlog! It’s always a bit tricky to get to as you can get caught out by the high tide. I had just enough time to capture one image only before a swift departure to avoid getting stranded. Whitby Fine Art Photography - I often get asked what is Fine Art Landscape Photography? We’ll that is very subjective and down to the individual looking at it! My take on Fine Art Landscape Photography is that its a genre that goes beyond documentary photography with personnel creative arty style of photography the evokes emotions and tells stories through visual narratives often focusing on aspects of landscape, ie using slow shutter speeds to change the look of water giving a etherial dreamy soft magic atmosphere. This why I love Fine Art Photography as it allows me the creative freedom to change the look of a scene and make it my own style! I live on the East Yorkshire coast line, so the last couple of videos have been shot locally. The last video was shot at Flamborough Head @ • Flamborough Head Fine Art Landscape P... The previous video was Spurn Point on the East Coast @ • Spurn Point Fine Art and long Exposur... Today is Vlog number 5 and I’m still experimenting with my vlogging camera in video mode and colour casts, more practise required on that side! In stills photography my work flow hasn’t changed in 45 years, I’m still shooting in total manual mode especially when using filters for long exposure landscape photography. My stills camera kit is: Nikon Z9 Camera Body Nikkor Z 24-120mm f4 zoom lens Nikkor Z 14-30mm f4 zoom lens Nikkor Z 100-400mm f4 zoom lens Kase Armour Magnetic 100mm system Benro Mach3 Carbon Fibre Tripod Benro GD3WH-3 way geared head Thanks for watching Vlog number 5, if you would like to see more of my vlogs please Like and Subscribe @PeteBristoPhoto that would be great!!
