Laisteridge Lane is an English Country Dance devised by Gary Roodman, published in Sum Further Calculated Figures of 1996: https://calculatedfigures.com/. It is a proper duple minor longways longways dance that starts in lines of four. It is double progression. There is an alternate version of this dance called "Return to Laisteridge Lane". The tune, called "Kettledrum" was published by Playford in 1651 and was performed by MGM and Reunion on the album "Old Friends". It is used with permission from Gary Roodman. The animation plays at 112 counts per minute normally, but the first time through the set the dance is slowed down so people can learn the moves more readily. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color, however the border of each dancer indicates what role they currently play so the border color may change each time through the minor set. https://www.upadouble.info/
