Annali Vasari | How To Make Ginger Daali Thoi & Methi Raw Banana Upkari Ingredients: Tur dal 150 grams. Ginger chopped fine. Green chillies three. Coconut oil two teaspoons. Tomato pieces. Coriander leaves. Salt. Mustard seeds, pieces of red chilly three, ghee, curry leaves and pinch of turmeric powder for seasoning. Cook washed tur dal with sufficient water and chopped ginger, green chilly and coconut oil in a pressure cooker for three whistles. Now add pieces of tomato and coriander leaves, salt as per taste and boil . Now season with ghee, mustard, curry leaves, red chilly pieces and turmeric powder. Ginger dali thoi is ready to serve. Methi Raw Banana Upkari with Andhra Twist. Ingredients: Pieces of peeled out two raw bananas. Chopped methi leaves. Chopped Onion. Coconut oil. Mustard one spoon. Urid dal one spoon. Turmeric powder one teaspoon. Curry leaves. Tamarind water. Salt. Grated coconut. Red chillies three. Fried coriander and jeera. White tila or ellu or Sesame. Ground nut seeds. Cooking Procedure: First prepare the masala by moderately grinding grated coconut, Red chilli, coriander, jeera, white tila and groundnut seeds without water. Now, in a deep pan start seasoning with coconut oil, urid dal and mustard. Add onion pieces and turmeric powder and stir well. Now add chopped methi leaves and keep on stirring. Add banana pieces, curry leaves and tamarind water, cook for a while putting the lid on. Remove the lid and add the grinded masala and salt. Keep on stirring and cook for a couple of minutes. Methi Raw Banana Upkari with Andhra Twist is ready to serve.
