ISIP-International Students of Islamic Psychology hosted Dr. Mustafa Merter on Saturday, January 31st, 2026. He spoke on Psyche Versus Nafs. Dr. Mustafa Merter is a Turkish psychiatrist, psychotherapist, author, and founder of Ilm Al Nafs and Nafs Psychotherapy. He is the founder and president of the Turkish Transpersonal Psychology and Psychiatry National Association. He worked as an Internal Medicine assistant in Germany then he started his Psychiatry training in Switzerland. He completed his specialization at the Burghölzli Psychiatric Hospital affiliated to the University Hospital of Zurich.He has trained many psychotherapists with his training called Learning Analysis in Ilm Al Nafs.
