Filmed: 13/10/2025 Camera used: iPhone 16 Pro Max, 4K 60fps Enjoy this video of me on board a Mariyung D set with in this occasion travelling up to the Blue mountains for the first time of passenger service, early that day at around 6:24am set number D140 & D40 with run number W428 made it's first service from Lithgow into Central station. Many customers are getting slowly used to the new train in the Blue Mountains and grateful to be enjoying the future and modern style. Unfortunately with our old pal the V Sets, are getting close to retirement with more sets are withdrawn from service and have the expected last V set to be withdrawn and scrapped early next year which in my opinion is very sad to let this one go with many people enjoy this train and bringing the nostalgia vibes.
