"Lauki Do Pyaaza" is a popular Indian dish made with bottle gourd (lauki/doodhi) and onions (pyaaza). It's a vegetarian curry where the bottle gourd is cooked with a generous amount of onions, tomatoes, and spices. The name "Do Pyaaza" refers to the cooking style where onions are added in two forms: sliced onions and either onion paste or finely chopped onions, giving the dish a rich and textured flavor. #chefharpalsingh #namakshamak #cooking #recipe #indianfood #indiancuisine #lauki #pyaaz #curry Ingredients Quantity Oil 2 tbsp Bay leaves 3 no Cumin seeds 1 tsp Bottle guard 1 no Dry red chilli 4 no Onion chopped 2 no Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Tomato chopped 2 no Salt to taste Turmeric powder ½ tsp Red chilli powder ½ tsp Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp Garam masala ½ tsp Kasuri methi ½ tsp Water as required Green chilli slit 3 no Ginger juliennes 1 inch Water 1 cup Onion diced ½ no Tomato diced ½ no Capsicum diced ½ no Tamarind paste 2 ½ tsp Coriander chopped 3 tbsp Method :- 1.
